More knowledge on internet safety for child protection

Many children face Physical, Psychological, Sexual Abuse and Exploitation in family, community and school. Likewise, with the rapid development in the information technology, children are facing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation in the internet. This course aims to build the capacity of child protection actors on the prevention of Online Child Sexual Abuse (OCSA) including the Case Management System.

This course is developed by Voice of Children (VOC) in the support of Kindernothilfe (KNH) Germany and German Cooperation. This course is also implemented in Indonesia by Pusat Kajian Dan Perlindungan Anak (PKPA) and Philippines by Stairway Foundation (SFI) under the Global Program; Stopping Cyber Crime against Children: More Safety and Protection on the Internet. This course contains different information and stories regarding the online child sexual abuse that could be sensitive to the participants. In this regard, the participants need to be aware about the sensitivity of the course beforehand and note that all the stories that are included in the course are fictional and are used for informational purposes only.

With completion of this course, VOC hopes that participants will be able to grasp the basic concept of OCSA, its prevention and Case Management System to ensure a safer space for children and protect their rights in a digital platform.
